Blackcork is a Portuguese contemporary furniture brand. Through innovation and design, BLACKCORK explores the versatility of cork to create products

Designer and art director Toni Grilo invited a new generation of talented Portuguese designers to create a collection of design furniture for Sofalca, a Portuguese company that has been producing black cork blocks since 1966.
The super material cork has so many advantages because it not only has excellent thermal, sound and vibration insulation properties, but also plays an important role for the environment as a carbon dioxide absorber.
